Life Designs Ranch was founded in 1998 by Randy and Colleen Russell. Prior to starting Life Designs Ranch Randy had helped create numerous other residential programs. Colleen received a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology. Randy and Colleen combined their love of nature and experiential learning to create a unique family-style program with the mission to empower young adult.

After their first year of business Randy and Colleen hired their first full-time employee, Vince Barranco. Randy, Colleen and Vince combined their wisdom and passion for teaching young adults how to live an empowered life. Vince worked as the Program Director for six years before taking over the business from Randy and Colleen. After purchasing Life Designs Ranch in January 2005 Vince and his staff have worked diligently to develop Life Designs Ranch into one of the most respected programs in the world.

Life Designs Ranch is a member of NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs) and has been honored by Woodbury Reports.
